FRONTLINE CARE FLOWS IN HIS BLOOD

SIMON RATTRAY
Simon and his brother Paul were raised in Indonesia to missionary parents who ministered among headhunters. From a young age, Simon and his brother, helped their mother in her medical clinic, and also travelled with their father on long, often dangerous mission trips into the jungles either on foot or by boat. Simon says the sacrifices of his parents, his mother in her medical profession and his father in his mission work, modelled within him a deep love for hurting people and a longing to see the power of God released through both Deed Gospel and Word Gospel. Both Simon and his brother now work in global mission enterprise.
Simon has a BA and an MA in Theology. Simon has served in the medical field, and pastored churches. Simon is married to Allison, and they have two children. Allison is a graphic designer, artist, and art therapist. Both Simon and Allison have travelled to and worked in countries gripped by persecution and war, deploying various kinds of support and resources to strengthen people in crisis.
