Grace and peace to you in the name of Jesus!
I’ve just finished an online Zoom meeting with five Christian leaders from countries where God’s people are persecuted. Each one knows a believer who has either been killed or received threats of imprisonment, beatings, or murder just because they carry the Cross of Jesus.
After hearing their stories, I am balancing both the weight of grief and the quiet evidence of God’s presence.
In these countries, war, famine, and persecution are no longer just an emergency—they are a way of life. As one pastor shared, “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:5). Pastor Ahdim says,
“The Church is very much alive here, but our wounds are deep, we are bleeding, and we need your help.”
We are expanding our trauma recovery efforts into the hardest places for the Gospel, but the need is urgent and growing.
Thank you for your faithful support and prayer.
Blessings,
Simon and Allison, and the Global Project114 Team
